Biographical history

The Woodberry Riding Club was founded on March 26, 1964 and dissolved on January 30, 2002. People present at the dissolution were: Keith and Donna Graham, Marg Campbell, Tom Addison, Ron Drysdale, Ron Jarvis, Mitchell and Gloria Mott, Wayne and Sandra Sagin, Alex Christison and Keith and Laural White

Custodial history

Records were presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 2004 by Gloria Mott of Carberry on August 11, 2004. The records had been entrusted to her when the club officially ceased to exist in January 2002

Scope and content

Fonds consist of four slides, five minute books, financial reports, membership lists, handbooks for the Woodberry Riding Club and Manitoba Gymkhana Association, two membership cards, a bank statement, corespondence from the Manitoba Gymkhnana Rodeo Association, newsletters from the Manitoba Trail Riding Association and a page from the Carberry News Express dated February 18, 2002, describing the history and activities of the club from its inception to its cessation. The newspaper page has five pictures on it.
