Biographical history

Velma Wells (nee Turner), the wife of Douglas Keith Wells, and daughter-9in-law of G.W. Wells of Wellwood, is related to the Turner family described in the genealogical material she donated. She was also active in the Wellwood Women's Missionary Soceity and in the Zion Guild of the Missionary Society.

Fonds consists of one plaque presented to G. W. (Pat) Wells by the Local #246 of the United Grain Growers Ltd. (Wellwood)for services rendered; a Minute book of the Zion Guild of the Women's Missionary Society (May 4/89 to Dec 7/2000 - the final meeting), a financial record book of the Wellwood Women's Missionary Society (1961-1972), a printed history of United Grain Growers Local #210 of Petrel, MB; a copy of Horace & Annie Turner's family history updated to 2005, and a copy of the genealogical history of "The Turners and the Grahams."
