Name of creator
Vassar United Church existed in the Manitoba community of Vassar, located southeast of Winnipeg in the Rural Municipality of Piney, from 1925 to 1946. It began as a Union congregation in 1923. The first service was held in the community on June 10, 1923. The church was the first one built after Union in 1925. From 1925 to 1941, it was part of the Sprague Pastoral charge. After 1943, the congregation had no resident minister and the church was no longer used.
The records of Vassar United Church came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of a transfer of records from an unknown source.
Scope and content
