The Vancouver Chinese Mennonite Church was founded in 1977 in Vancouver, B.C. It was the result of an outreach ministry by the Mountainview Mennonite Church. They met in this meeting house until they purchased their own meeting house in 1978. In 1981 there were 41 members. In 1982 there were 120 members. In 1984 they expanded their meeting house. In 1989 there were 164 members and in 2000 there were 173. The founding and long-time leader of the congregation is: Stephen Lee (1977- ).

This fonds contains bulletins (1977-1981) and a directory ([1979]). The records pertain to the development of the Chinese Mennonite congregation in Vancouver, B.C. The records are difficult to access because they are all in Chinese pictographs (either Cantonese or Mandrin).
