As part of the Association for Manitoba Archives' commitment to support the work of Manitoba's archival community, AMA member institutions are eligible to create and upload content to MAIN provided the content:

• is not under copyright, unless the copyright holder has transferred the copyright to the institution, or permitted the institution to make the content accessible;
• does not include personal and/or health information that violates the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) or the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA);
• does not violate the First Nations Principles of OCAP (Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession); and/or
• is not offensive, insensitive or culturally inappropriate.

The AMA periodically reviews MAIN for such content. However, in the event a user finds content that violates the above criteria on this website, please contact the Digital Initiatives committee at webmaster@mbarchive.ca so that we may review the content and take it down if necessary.
