Administrative history

There were plans to build a church as early as 1918. From then until 1932, there was a stalemate between building a new chapel or renovating an old cheese factory. In 1932 the Catholic Church Extension Society of Canada sent money for a chapel. Services were discontinued before 1959, and by 1962 the chapel had been torn down. The name Bluff Creek appears on some documents. Perhaps it was an alternate name for the community, although Bluff Creek does not appear on current maps. Sacramental records are integrated with those of St. Joseph's at Ebb and Flow and Our Lady of the Angels at Amaranth.
