Biographical history

Sight Hill Methodist Church existed briefly in the Manitoba community of Sight Hill, located southwest of Portage la Prairie, from 1904 to 1909. A church measuring 20 x 24 feet with a vestibule measuring 6 x 8 feet was built in 1904 on the Southwest corner of Lot 3 - 11 - 11. It was considered part of the Austin circuit, along with Orangeville. In 1909, a motion to sell the building was made and approved.

Custodial history

The records of Sight Hill Methodist Church came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of a transfer of records in October of 1984.
