Scope and content

The series is comprised of postcards with both photographs and drawings on them. Some are black and white and others in colour. Many of the images are of important landmarks in Brandon. These landmarks include the hospital, businesses, churches, the Assiniboine River, down town streets, City Hall, the bank, the CPR station, the fair buildings, and Brandon University. There are also some postcards with portraits of individuals. Included in the series is a collection of postcards commemorating martyrs from the First World War. Additionally, there are greeting cards for different holidays. Items are described in detail at the individual level.
