William John Scott was the son of John Henry Scott and Fanny Perkins. He immigrated to Winnipeg in 1910 and worked as an elevator operator. In 1916, he married Margaret Ross. Together they had five children who were born and raised in Winnipeg.

Florence Mae Scott was the eldest child of William J. Scott and Margaret Ross. She was born April 1, 1917. Her mother died when she was 14 years old, leaving her to care for her four siblings while her father delivered milk for a living. Florence worked for the Anglican Church in Winnipeg before working several secretarial positions in locations all over the world. Florence never married nor had children. She passed away in 2001 in Vancouver.

L. George Scott was the youngest child of William J. Scott and Margaret Ross. He left Winnipeg to work as a cook in a camp near Revelstoke, BC before becoming a cook on the Canadian Pacific Railway boats. He met and married his wife Marge in Victoria, BC before moving to Vernon, BC. They had four children: Ralph, Debbie, Glenda, and Jean.

Glenda Mae Dolcetti is the second daughter of L. George and Marge Scott. Glenda went to university to become an educator. She returned to Vernon to teach, where she and her husband, Reni, raised their family and are now enjoying retirement.
