Biographical history

The Rev. William Charles Turney was ordained a Deacon in 1915 and a Priest in 1916. He served as the Curate of St. James, Humber Bay, Toronto from 1915 to 1918, St. Columba, Montreal from 1920 to1921, and Chicouti, Quebec 1925 to 1927. He was the Incumbent of Sprucedale from 1927 to 1930 and St. Michael and All Angels, Winnipeg (W.033) from 1931 to 1961. He also served as Chaplain at St. John's Boys' School from 1961 to 1962. The Rev. William Charles Turney died in 1962 and is buried at St. Peter's, Dynevor in East Selkirk, Manitoba..
