Name of creator
This ministry was originally known as Stella Mission. In 1971, Winnipeg Presbytery established P.A.C.T. (People Acting on Concerns Together). P.A.C.T. provided a ministry service for special needs and was not a ministry with an established congregation. The needs were met by giving direct service to the community through organization of recreational and educational programs, including the building of a better neighbourhood and community with members from the community. P.A.C.T. functioned until 1978 when the North End Community Ministry (NECM) adopted their goals.
The records of the PACT fonds came to the conference archives as part of transfers of records from Rev. Doug Martindale in 1980, 1981, 1990, 1992 and 2006.
