Administrative history

The Pas Mennonite Mission was founded in approximately 1960 in The Pas, Manitoba. The congregation was referred to as as both the Pas Mennonite Mission and the Elim Mennonite Mission in reports to the Canadian Conference mission board. The main participants were families of Mennonite background who lived in the area, primarily a forest industry town with some agriculture. They had their own meeting house in 1962. However, there was not enough support to sustain the congregation so that in dissolved soon after 1965. The leaders of the congregation were: David Braun (1961-1964), David Wiebe (1965-1966).
