Biographical history

The Nelsonville Circuit operated between the years of 1877 and 1882. The circuit was part of the Morden Methodist Mission. Between these years, Reverend John Wesley Ball visited homes in Nelsonville, Boyne Settlement, Calf Mountain, Mountain City, Stoddardsville.

Custodial history

The records of the Nelsonville Methodist Circuit came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario from the Provincial Archives of Manitoba in 2000.
