Administrative history
The Minnedosa/ Clanwilliam Pastoral charge and the Rapid City/ Justice Pastoral charge amalgamated in 1968 to form the Minnedosa - Rapid City Wider Parish. The charge included the communities of Minnedosa, Clanwilliam, Rapid City, Justice, Moore Park, and Hunterville. Basswood and Cadurcis joined the charge after Moore Park closed in 1972. The Wider Parish concept was dissolved as of June 30, 1981. The area was then split into two charges. Minnedosa and Clanwilliam remained together until Clanwilliam United Church closed in 1995. Minnedosa is currently a one point charge in Assiniboine Presbytery.
Custodial history
The records of the Minnedosa - Rapid City Wider Parish came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of several transfers of records from Alex McNabb in 1982 and from the Minnedosa - Rapid City Wider Parish in 1985.

The records of the Minnedosa - Rapid City Wider Parish held at the conference archives include: records of annual meetings (1971-1981); financial records (1970-1981); records of the Task force (1980); records of the Council (1969-1981); and records of the minister (1969, 1974).
