General note

History: Robert Baird Murray (1889-1944) was born in Ontario to parents Robert Murray and Catherine White. In 1890, when Baird was 10 months old, the family moved to Manitba. They farmed at 22-1-28 in the Lyleton district. Baird grew up on the family farm and in 1914 his father gave him S1/2 of 27-1-28. In 1914 he married Laura Dividson; the couple continued to farm and raised five children.
