Name of creator
Mary Emma (Graham) McIntosh (1906-1990) was involved in the Manitoba Farmers Union, and served as Women's president. She was born in the Wellwood district of Manitoba to Edith and Herbert Graham. Her siblings are Harvey, Arnold, Eldon, Murray, Evelyn and Lillian. In 1929 Mary married Herbert McIntosh and they had children Ian (deceased), Yvonne, Gwen, Linda and Don. Mary attended Kennedy district School, Wellwood Consolidated School and Brandon Normal School. Further biographical information is unknown.
Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 2001 by Carberry Plains Museum [who received the records from McIntosh's daughter Yvonne Witherspoon of Carberry, Manitoba].
Scope and content
Fonds consists of two teacher's certificates (1927, 1929), photo copy of marriage certificate (1929), a letter (1930), two reading course certificates (1928, 1929).
