Biographical history

The Presbyterian congregation of Lundyville, Manitoba, originated sometime in the 1880s. in 1900, the Post Office and the surrounding disctrict of Lundyville changed its name to Lily Bay. The Lily Bay Union Church was constructed around 1906. Upon joining the United Church of Canada in 1925, Lily Bay Union Church became Lily Bay United Church.

Custodial history

The records of the Lily Bay Union Church came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of a transfer of records in 1986.

Scope and content

The surviving records of the Lily Bay Union Church include records of the Ladies Aid, including minutes, 1905-1907, and financial records, 1906-1908 & n/d.
