Langley School #2082 was founded in 1957 to provide educational services to children of the Langley, Manitoba area. With the re-organization of districts under the Beautiful Plains School division in 1965, the school was closed and children bused to Carberry, Manitoba. Prior to 1957 students were taken to Arizona, Sidney, Castle Hill and Melbourne schools. Further information on students is available in "Carberry Plains: Century One".

Custodial history

Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 1989 by the Beautiful Plains School Division of Carberry, Manitoba.

Scope and content

Fonds consists of daily attendance registers (1933-1965, missing 1934-1957), and undated polio immunization cards for students. Registers are indexed for students and teachers.
