Biographical history

Lancelot Robinson Burch was an early settler of the Big Plain. He was born at Cumberland, Ontario to Isabella and Robinson Burch. He came west in 1885 to Saskatchewan returning to Manitoba to farm in Kerfoot and Wellwood district. He married Jane Anne McRae (1861-1956) in 1887. Four children born to this union. He later retired to Carberry. Further biographical information is unknown.

Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 2001 by Joyce Gee of Glen Huron, Ontario.
