Administrative history
Rev Abraham Cowley started the mission at the Lake St Martin Reserve, located ten minutes off Provincial Road 513, when he was stationed at Fairford. A church building does not appear to have been built in the area until approximately 1905. The cornerstone for a "new" church was laid on 27 June 1938 by Bishop MM Harding. The building was built by Mr Findlay McKenzie and consecrated on 17 October of 1939. It was always connected with the Fairford Parish, but has not appeared in the Synod Journals since 1992.
