The Ladies' Orange Benevolent Association No.1115 of Carberry, Manitoba was founded in 1946 to encourage women to volunteer in support of charitable and other community projects. It was disbanded due to declining enrollment in 1980. It is also known as Lily of the West Orange Lodge No. 1115. It was affiliated with the Loyal Orange Lodge No. 1508 of Carberry. It initiated the Junior Orange Lodge No. 336 in 1950 to initiate juvenile women into participating in charitable projects. This was later disbanded. Further information is unknown.
Custodial history
Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 1988 by the [Carberry Plains Museum] on behalf of Doris Gates of an unknown location.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of a black and white photograph of members of the Lodge (ca. 1950), minutes, applications, correspondence, members due book, and a roll call book.
