Knox United Church has existed in the Manitoba charge of Plumas since 1925. On May 21, 1972, the congregation celebrated the dedication of a new church building, replacing the Knox Presbyterian Church that was demolished the previous summer. The cornerstone was laid June 20, 1971. The new church cost approximately $16,500. Plumas Knox United Church is located at 204 Anderson street.
The records of Knox United Church came to The United Church of Canada Archives-Conference of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario as part of a series of record transfers in 1978, 1992 and 2000.
