Biographical history

Janet "Jenny" McCullouch (Mackie) Graham (1909-1997) wrote a history of Wellwood, Manitoba. Her parents were Margaretina (Howie) Mackie of Greenock, Scotland and William Alexander Mackie of Stranraer, Scotland and she had sisters Margaret, Janet and Ethel. She died in Winnipeg. In 1935 she married Howard Graham ([19-]-1958) and they had children, Margaret (Peggy), Elizabeth (Beth), and Gregory. She was a teacher. Further biographical information is unknown.

Custodial history

Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 1994 by J. Graham and 1990 by [Nora Turner] of Carberry, Manitoba. In 1988 the photographs were transferred from the Carberry Plains Museum who had received them from Ms. Day on an unknown date.

Scope and content

Fonds consists of a hand-written history of Wellwood from 1900 to 1987, written by Jenny Graham with assistance from Nora Turner.Records have been presented to the Carberry Plains Archives in 1994 by J. Graham and 1990 by [Nora Turner] of Carberry, Manitoba. In 1988 the photographs were transferred from the Carberry Plains Museum who had received them from Ms. Day on an unknown date.
