This collection is composed primarily of material pertaining to the Brandon area. Items include photographs of the city, history books, and local publications. The collection also includes newspaper clippings, framed documents, maps, and other miscellaneous documents.

The photographs and photographic postcards in this collection are comprised largely of portraits and family pictures belonging to the Bolton family. The majority of individuals photographed remain unidentified. Those who have been identified include James H. Bolton and Jennie Bolton. There are a number of photographs of soldiers from both WWI and WWII, including a photograph of Camp Sewell (Camp Hughes) near Carberry, Manitoba. There are also photographs of threshing, grain elevators, houses, and animals. The majority of these photographs are from Manitoba including the communities of Kelloe, Shoal Lake, Spruce Creek, Riding Mountain, Routledge, Winnipeg, Brandon, Carberry, Birtle, and Rossburn. Also found in the collection are photographs from Ontario, Saskatchewan, England, and the USA. Each photograph is described in further detail at the individual item level.

This collection contains photographs of Brandon and area that do not belong to a particular collection or fonds held at Daly House Museum. It is, in short, an artificially created collection. The collection has been divided into the following series:

The fonds consists of financial records, correspondence, newsletters, minutes and reports related to the activities of the Brandon Flying Club and the operation of the Brandon Municipal Airport from 1946 to 1976. It is divided into the following series:

The fonds consists of four scrapbooks documenting the activities of the Brandon Ladies' Golf Club through photographs and newspaper clippings as well as membership records.

The fonds consists of the constitution, membership lists, attendance lists, and six photographs related to the activities of the Brandon Lady Barbershoppers and other choirs.

The fonds contains materials related to the activities of the Brandon Parent Child Toy Lending Library including newsletters from 1978 to 2000 and the organization's constitution.

The collection contains photographs, newspaper clippings, and a souvenir booklet pertaining to Brandon, Manitoba. Photographs include sports teams, local businesses, hunting activities, and photographs of or relating to local events. Also included is a photograph of the 1882 County Council of Brandon and an advertisement for the Canadian Portrait Co. in Oak Lake, Manitoba.

The fonds contains a minute book dating from 1944 to 1949; membership application cards dating from 1945 to 1959; badges, pins, ribbons, and membership card from Toastmasters and other organizations; and a Hands Across the Border Annual Debate Contest trophy dating from 1971 to 1975.
