Documents in the collection include an invitation for the 25th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. & Mrs. Beecham Trotter in 1912, a program for the Brandon General Hospital Nurses Alumnae Centennial Reunion, postcards, and newspaper clippings. The collection also contains articles written by Marjorie Trotter about her family home and various cookbooks compiled by different organizations.

It contains photographs of prominent building such as hotels, and other important businesses. The photographs document many areas of life in early Brandon including businesses, industry, agriculture, transportation, and education.
