The fonds consists of manuscript letters, newspaper clippings of interest to Burman and copies of his own publications. The contents reflects Burman's broad interests including Indigenous culture, the Arctic, the Church Missionary Society (CMS), the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (SPCK), and Uganda. Fonds consists of photocopied pages on Mary Ann (Alabaster) Criddle from the 1981 "Index to Artistic Biography", and the 1976 "Dictionnaire Critique et Documentaire des Peintres, Sculpteurs", a list of paintings by Mary Criddle shown with the Royal Academy of Arts between 1837-1848, and a biography. Other textual material includes correspondence, biographical information on the family, Henry Criddle's will, a certificate for Prairie Patron for Alma Criddle, 7 partial maps showing the Aweme area, and an introduction for the Criddle display in Brandon City Hall. Black and white photographs show Norman Criddle, aerial views of St. Alban's, Aweme (1942-1958), Bald Hills and the Punch Bowl of Spruce Woods Provincial Park (1942). Coloured photographs are by Barbara Criddle of an unspecified place taken in 1971 of the Spruce Woods Provincial Park sandhills.
The fonds consists of the full Indigenous ceremonial regalia worn by Kelly Houle while dancing in powwows and in other ceremony. The regalia includes a blue jingle dress, multi-coloured hair ribbons, leather hide moccasins, a black leather belt, beaded flower earrings, a beaded feather clasp or brooch, and beaded leather tiara that reads "18th International Two-Spirit Princess." In an oral history interview, Houle claimed that she had a vision of dancing in a jingle dress and acquired the regalia shortly thereafter following a consultation with an Elder. She referred to the dress as a "healing dress" in this interview.

Fonds contains copies of settlement era 1881-1905 documents related to Wallace family homesteading in the Shellmouth region, correspondence between Andrews Wallace and figures at Brandon College c. 1941 concerning the donation of the Wallace correspondence to the Brandon College library, and extensive correspondence to and from Dr. William Morrison concerning the publication of My Dear Maggie, an edited version of some of the Wallace correspondence.
