Brandon Business and Professional Women's Club fonds

The fonds contains three small scrapbooks, which cover the years 1932-1939, 1939-1949, and 1950-1959, respectively. The scrapbooks contain newpaper clippings from the Brandon Sun, the Winnipeg Free Press, and the Flin Flon Daily Miner. The scrapbooks also contain exhibition and meeting programs from the Brandon Club. Fonds also contains meeting minutes for the years 1932-1972.

Minnedosa Women's Institute Collection

This collection includes many records from the Minnedosa Women's Institute such as the group's constitution, and the meeting minutes from 1914-1981. The collection also contains financial records from 1932-1955. There are two scrapbooks about the Minnedosa Women's Institute, with the first running from 1910-60 and the second running from 1960-80. The scrapbooks contain pictures, clippings, and stories. There is also a scrapbook dedicated to Minnedosa Village History, which covers the years 1878-1956. Finally, this collection includes the Certificate of Organization for the Minnedosa Women's Institute, which is dated October 20, 1922, althought the group was established in 1910.

This fonds consists of annual registers (1910-1961), minute books (1896-1962), account books (1896-1911 1924-1956), an award of a Board of Arbitration (1961), a petition for consolidation with School District of Nesbitt (1961), a financial report (1961), a map of Souris Valley School Division showing rural school districts, and one debenture certificates (1896).

Arthur T. "Art" Puttee fonds

Fonds contains one hockey goaltender stick used by Art Puttee while goalie for the Canadian hockey team (the University of Manitoba Grads) that won the 1931 World Championships in Krynica, Poland. Handwritten on one side of the handle is the text, "Winners of Turnbull Cup (Manitoba Champ), Abbott Cup (Western Canada Champ), Ross Robertson Memorial Cup (Canadian Champ). Played 21 games, won 17, tied 3, lost 1." On the outer edge of the handle is the text, "Total goals - for 113 - against 36." Other side of the handle has Art Puttee's signature. Signatures of other players are partially visiable across other parts of the stick; legible names include Doupe, Murdoch, and Chapman.

This fonds consists of material on the aboriginal history, culture, education, health, housing, and politics. Walter Rudnicki was an active participant in many of the subjects collected by him in the course of his life. In the most cases, this material is organized into themes and contains correspondence, government documents, reports, press releases, newspaper clippings, and documents of many aboriginal organizations and their leaders.

It also includes an extensive moving image and sound collection, including oral histories and episodes of the cable access program "Coming Out."

Items consist of 3 copies of a black and white photograph of guests at the ball, on one copy of which Mrs. Dimock has indicated her location when the photograph was taken. Also found here are invitations to the opening of the Winnipeg Art Gallery and the Lieutenant-Governor's Ball and a newspaper clipping describing the events.

Nurses' Alumni Association of the Winnipeg General Hospital/Health Sciences Centre fonds

The fonds contains all records pertaining to both the Winnipeg General and Health Sciences Centre Schools of Nursing including lists of enrolees, student time books, notes, and handbooks, teaching materials, examination results from the first quarter of the twentieth century, some diplomas and one complete run of years books.

The fonds also contains Alumni related material including the Alumnae Journal, records and history of the Alumni Association, biographical information on select graduates, reference files on nursing and the history of nursing, and information on the Manitoba Association of Registered Nurses (MARN).

The photograph collection contains images of student and nursing staff both at graduation and in and around the hospital campus. The slide collection contains teaching materials.

The special collection consists of textbooks, theses, an incomplete second run of the Alumni Journal and Yearbook, an incomplete run of the Canadian Nurse Journal and a small number of volumes related to the history of nursing. In addition, a collection of artwork and artifacts also exist including pins, uniforms, china and silverware
