Image of threshing gang and equipment; 17 people, machines, horses, wire fence, and a huge stack of hay. Handwritten note on the back indicates that the man at the back of the buggy might be Mr. Lau.

Holt Header Harvester Combine

Photograph the Holt Header Harvester pulled by 32-horse team pulling a header harvester. Ernie Platt is the driver of the horse team. Written on back in pencil: "32 horses - early 'combine' - a 'header' - provided all power. Hold Header Harvester, made in California - in operation in California before 1900. Donated by Bessie Stuart."
