This fonds contains records pertaining to the career of Henri Francq at Brandon University, although the majority are concerned with his writing career after his retirement. Fonds includes published versions of his work, and an even greater number of unpublished manuscripts, and research material dealing with the Nazi holocaust and Ernst Zundel. Francq was a fierce opponent of fascism and racism. His work was dedicated principally to a critique of right-wing ideology and its political manifestations. His satirical works are all highly critical of modern society and politics. This fonds also contains a few issues of "La Revue de L'Universite Laval" from 1966.
Ces copies des lettres de Jean Gaudet qu'il écrivait à sa famille en France (1903-1904) relatent le voyage qu'il fit pour se rendre au Canada en 1903 et ses premières impressions de l'Ouest canadien.
