Jane Barske

• Sous-fonds 99.002 contains 2 contacts sheets and 30 negatives related to the library ceremony for the unveiling of the Rutherford Plaque. Carol Shields is pictured in some of the photographs.
• Sous-fonds 00.031 contains records related to a library review survey including meeting minutes, policy & procedure, reports, correspondence, articles, newsletters, magazine, agreements and four discs. Also included are agendas and minutes of the Library Board and Library Committee. Some records in the file "Library Fines" have restricted access.
• Sous-fonds 02.012 consist of the administrative records of the University of Winnipeg Library including those of the Library Board and the Library Policy and Planning Group. In these records are correspondence, reports, agendas and minutes generated by both committees.
• Sous-fonds 03.002 contains the agenda and minutes for the Advisory Committee on the Library with accompanying documentation pertaining to agenda and minute items, including related correspondence.
• Sous-fonds 03.010 consists of four series. The first series Records Management contains records related to the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA). The second series Papers contains works written by Dr. William R. Converse who was the Chief Librarian from 1982-1997. The third series Office of the President contains correspondence, newspaper clippings and reports by Dr. Marsha P. Hanen, president of the University of Winnipeg from 1989-1999 and Dr. Constance Rooke who was president from 1999-2002. The fourth series Administration contains records related to Library Information Systems, Watfile Data Base Management Software, Quattro Pro as well as contracts, proposals and statistics related to the library and the university.
• The sous-fonds 05.023 consists of minutes of the University of Winnipeg Senate (open and closed), Board of Regents, Library Board and the Faculty Council of Arts and Sciences Library Committee. Also included is correspondence belonging to Dr. William Converse, Chief Librarian from 1982-1997, Dr. Robin H. Farquhar, President of the University of Winnipeg from 1981 - 1989 as well as members of the library board and the United Church Archives. Access to the closed Senate Sessions is restricted.

• Sous fonds 97.022 contains the Collective Agreement for 1995-1997 between the Board of Regents of the University of Winnipeg and the University of Winnipeg Faculty Association.
• Sous fonds 06.012 contains two copies of program for the Memorial Service for Professor Victor L. Leathers at Theatre 3C00.
• Sous-fonds 09.004 contains records related to the Religion and Life Week lecture series, including correspondence and program organizational details. Publications related to the Religion and Life Week lecture series are also included. One record contains the SIN numbers of participants to Religion & Life Week lecture series, to which access is restricted.
• Sous-fonds 11.013 is comprised of the contents of a scrapbook. Contents in the scrapbook were removed and placed in file folders. The records are predominately photographs and articles from newspapers and newsletters. The photographs are of a “Prairie School Days” exhibit; the last manual expansion of the Card Catalogue before automation; the new automation system for the library; Archives Week at the Provincial Archives; displays of the University's Athletics from 1883 - 1985 at the University of Winnipeg Homecoming Weekend; the renovations that took place in the library in the summer of 1986; I-29 Red River Valley Group meeting in the board room of Wesley Hall; the Newspaper Project Reception held at the Legislative Library Reading Room and a Voltaire Display. The articles are about cutbacks to libraries and the renovations at the University of Winnipeg Library and the controversy over the lack of student input.

• Sous-fonds 91.006 contains records related to Archives Day 1983, including correspondence, guidelines for research in the Manitoba Conference Archives of the United Church as well as records related to the storage of library materials off- site.
• Sous-fonds 99.010 contains the University of Winnipeg telephone directory 1999/2000 and a memorandum about Emergency Procedures agreed upon by the Library Policy & Planning Group.
• Sous-fonds 99.018 consists of two series. The first series Manuals consists of manuals for the University of Winnipeg Library’s automated periodicals systems and the second series Professional Development, contains resources for professional development including materials on librarianship, copyright, records management and archiving.
• Sous-fonds 00.047 contains histories of Manitoba College, Wesley College and United College, song sheets from Wesley College as well as records related to the 75th and 95th anniversary of United College as well as internal correspondence, archival requests, correspondence regarding archival donations, a University of Winnipeg Student Association Accessibility report, a Disaster Action/Recovery Plan, and a NYU Libraries Disaster Plan.
• Sous fond 00.049 contains records related to the University of Winnipeg Senate, including agendas, minutes, correspondence relating to minutes, records of related committees, recommendations, reviews, reports, guides and leaflets.

University of Winnipeg Library

• Sous-fonds 86.004 contains 4 drawings of the mezzanines in the library, possible created by students as part of a class project.
• Sous-fonds 86.005 contains correspondence regarding the library proposal for housing and cataloguing playwrights’ work, published or unpublished, into the Library's Rare book Room.
• Sous-fonds 97.021 contains correspondence related to the changes to the National Library of Canada's online database.
• Sous-fonds 99.003 consists of the Stimpson Science Fiction Collection Inventory, prepared by The University of Winnipeg Library.
• Sous-fonds 99.004 consists of records related to the University of Winnipeg Library, including letters of thanks from the Chief Librarian to donors to the University of Winnipeg Library's acquisition collection, budget sheets, an application to the Summer Canada Program for student employees, donor lists, and donation receipts. Many files in this accession contain records with personal information of donors to which access is restricted.
• Sous-fonds 99.020 contains records listing archival collections and listings of publications that have been borrowed or are missing.
• Sous-fonds 00.048 contains records related to the Library and Policy and Planning Group including policies as well as the Library Mission Statement, various policies, drafts, guidelines, agreements and correspondence.
• Sous-fonds 00.052 contains correspondence related to the donation of books to the University of Winnipeg library.

Raymond C. Wright

These sous-fonds consists of administrative records of the United College and University of Winnipeg Library, including those of library's committees that served the Senate or the Board of Regents and file kept by the University Librarian. The committees include the Senate's Committee on the Library, the Library Planning Committee, and the Library Board, with the correspondence, minutes and reports they generated. These committees were instrumental in designing and planning the various expansions to the library from Bryce Hall, Ashdown Hall, and its present home in Centennial Hall. The administrative file includes the correspondence and research of the University Librarian, with donors and patrons, with other libraries, or other University of Winnipeg staff.

Sous-fonds contains items retained by Hazel McDonald during her time as a student at Wesley College. Includes ephemera from Wesley College and University of Manitoba events, photographs of her friends and colleagues, and two scrapbooks assembled and decorated by Hazel. Includes also photographs and newspaper clippings from the Class of 1923’s 50th Anniversary Reunion held in 1973.
