Large dark-brown leather-covered book containing appraisal of The Brandon Steam Laundry Co. Limited (1215-1219 Rosser Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba), performed by the Canadian Appraisal Company, Montreal in 1913. Consists of 100 pages typed; detailed analysis of the laundry including the boiler house, dye house, stable, wagon shed, barn and sewage.

The collection consists of certificates and a photograph pertaining to the activities of Mayor William K. "Bill" Wilton between 1970 and 1975. The certificates awarded to Mayor Wilton include Honorary Citizen of Tucson, Arizona; others originate from Regina Buffalo Days, City of Portage La Prairie Winter Fun Festival, and Knights of Columbus. The photograph shows Mayor Wilton opening the Royal Bank of Canada branch at 8th Street and Rosser Avenue in Brandon, Manitoba.

The fonds contains documents created by, pertaining to, or accumulated by, the Prince Alexander of Teck Chapter of the I.O.D.E. in Brandon, Manitoba. Documents include roll books (1959-1979), meeting minutes (1971-1994), guide booklets, correspondence, financial records, service secretary's reports (1959-1990), a service manual, a public relations manual, various newspaper clippings, and a poster outlining the organization's purposes and services. Information pertains to attendance, membership, event planning, fundraising, scholarships and bursaries, and charity organizations. Correspondence includes communication with provincial and national I.O.D.E. organizations. The oldest document is a certificate pertaining to the chapter's establishment in 1914.

The series consists of the I.O.D.E. Prince Alexander of Teck Chapter 308 charter, constitution and by-laws, service manual, public relations manual, and information board documents.

Assiniboine Historical Society Collection
The fonds consists of records collected and created by the Assiniboine Historical Society over the course of its existence. The records include photographs and other historical documents from the Brandon area; meeting minutes; financial records; correspondence records; heritage publications; film committee and street name committee documents; a constitution; documents relating to the Manitoba Historical Society; walking tour documents; and some miscellaneous files. The collection consists of five photographic images, and two negatives, depicting agricultural and pioneer life in western Manitoba.

The photographs and photographic postcards in this collection are comprised largely of portraits and family pictures belonging to the Bolton family. The majority of individuals photographed remain unidentified. Those who have been identified include James H. Bolton and Jennie Bolton. There are a number of photographs of soldiers from both WWI and WWII, including a photograph of Camp Sewell (Camp Hughes) near Carberry, Manitoba. There are also photographs of threshing, grain elevators, houses, and animals. The majority of these photographs are from Manitoba including the communities of Kelloe, Shoal Lake, Spruce Creek, Riding Mountain, Routledge, Winnipeg, Brandon, Carberry, Birtle, and Rossburn. Also found in the collection are photographs from Ontario, Saskatchewan, England, and the USA. Each photograph is described in further detail at the individual item level.
