The fonds consists of records, mostly publications, pertaining to the Waffle Movement, a radical-left political movement that grew in popularity in the early 1970s. The fonds is divided into eight categories:

2 Public Ownership - the benefits of nationalizing industries and natural resources
3 Quebec - How the movement would deal with the sovereignty issue
4 Policy Issues - various political policies the movement promotes
5 Waffle in the New Democratic Party - dealing with the larger political party of the NDP
6 Waffle-Ontario - the Waffle movement in Ontario
7 Waffle-Saskatchewan - how a socialist Saskatchewan would work in a socialist Canada
8 Oversize - oversized copies of the 'Waffle News', the 'Ontario Waffle', and assorted news clippings

Fonds consists of correspondence, clippings, memos, publications and other records pertaining to the political and diplomatic career of Edward Schreyer as well as personal records, research materials and conference proceedings relating to the environment, energy, sustainable development and Habitat for Humanity, as well as the personal library, certificates and plaques relating to the career of H.E. Edward Schreyer. Personal and professional photographs, audio recordings and moving images as well as some textile artifacts are also included.

Menzies Family fonds.

Items consist of two photographs. This includes a copy print of a black & white photograph taken of Helen Irving Muir and Albert A. P. Menzies on the occasion of their marriage on 21 August 1939 as well as a newspaper clipping describing the wedding. Also found here is a colour photograph of Heather Muir Menzies on the occasion of her marriage in 1969.

The papers are arranged into three series, including personal files, charters of various student organizations, and financial records related to students and Wesley College. The first series consists of Stewart’s family tree (c. 1925) and handwritten articles, including “The Problem of the City,” “The Real Origin of Missionary Work,” and “The Position of the Prophet in the State.” The second series consist of copies of the first edition of VOX Wesleyana published in January 1897, and the founding charters for a number of student organizations in Wesley College, including Debating Society, Y.W.C.A., Dramatic Society, VOX Wesleyana, Athletic Associations, Constitution of the Student Body of Wesley College, and the W.S.A., which likely date to c. 1897. The third series consists of financial records related to students at Wesley College from 1899 to 1915, and includes a Treasurer’s Book of the Educational Fund, Manitoba and North-West Conference of the Methodist Church.

Mary Schroeder fonds

This fonds consists of one album containing photos of Mary Neufeld (later Mrs. Mary Schroeder), the staff, activities, residences, buildings and landscapes associated with the places she worked before she married in 1959. One series were taken in 1947 and 1951 while working at the Rosthern Invalid / Nursing Home. Another series were taken in the summer of 1952 when Mary Neufeld served in the Brandon Mental Hospital on a Voluntary Service (VS) assignment. Another series of photos were taken during the summer of 1953 when she worked at the Ninette (Manitoba) Sanitorium. There are also a few photos from 1948 when she worked at a canning factory in the Niagara (Ontario) region and visited Niagara Falls, Crystal Beach, and Brock's monument at Queenston. A few photos were taken when she worked as a cook at the Rosthern Bible School in 1951-1952.

This fonds consists of material on the aboriginal history, culture, education, health, housing, and politics. Walter Rudnicki was an active participant in many of the subjects collected by him in the course of his life. In the most cases, this material is organized into themes and contains correspondence, government documents, reports, press releases, newspaper clippings, and documents of many aboriginal organizations and their leaders.

The records include original and reproduced architectural sketches of residential and summer homes in Manitoba and Ontario; sketches include floor plans, elevations, site plans, and perspectives. Sheets present preliminary and proposed plans for future homes, as well as proposed alterations to existing structures. Some information about homes’ electrical wiring and building notes are provided. With the exception of some mild staining and minor tears, the records are in good condition overall.
