Items described here consist of a number of loose photographs, invitations and guest lists, and newspaper clippings. Also found here is a small daily diary documenting Mrs. Van Slyck's activities during 1988. A number of obituaries and other items pertaining to Mrs. Van Slyck's death in 1992 were also accessioned with these materials.

Items described here consist of items pertaining to this history, including Mrs. Van Slyck's original notes for the book, a copy of the book with editing notes in her own hand and other items that were interspersed within the pages of the book.

Items described here consist of a black and white photographic negative of the Van Slyck home in its original location before renovation was begun. Also found her are 63 photographic negatives documenting the interior and exterior of the Van Slyck Pioneer Home soon after it was moved to the museum property and period furnishings and other items were installed.

Items described here consist of a list of works and prices for Wyn's first exhibition (no date), an invitation to a showing of Wyn's work at the Smith Galleries, (May 7, 1978), a list of works exhibited in 1997, a paste up of an order form and artist's biography for a sale of the limited edition print "Garden Bouquet" (no date), and a copy of a speech by Winnifred Van Slyck on what inspired her to paint (no date). Also found here are draft drawings for the first Dugald Costume Museum logo and four drawings for a fund raising brochure (ca.1982).

Items found here pertain to the presentations by the Dugald Ladies Fashion Review and include audio cassettes of 'fashion shows' as well as photographic images, including that of a 'fashion show' that took place in the Royal Alexandra Hotel, ca.1974. Also found here are two albums, one, labelled "Wyn Van Slyck" and featuring items from the Fashion Review collection and another, labelled "Ladies Programme Change of Command, August 1991", and featuring images of a program which took place at the Costume Museum (participants are identified by name).

Fonds primarily consist of the personal records of Winnifred Van Slyck, which remained in her custody until her death. These records do not form part of the documentation of her period as President of the DCCI or as Curator of the Costume Museum of Canada, the records of which remained in the custody of the Museum and were accessioned in 1999. Items found here include diaries, personal photograph albums and scrapbooks, research notes and background material for major projects such as the Springfield History Book, very early conceptual notes for the Dugald Costume Museum project, lists of works of art, and personal biographical records and clipping files.

Items described here document the initial planning done by Mrs. Van Slyck and Elisabeth Cook as the idea for a permanent home to house the Fashion Review collection took shape as well as some of the early fundraising efforts.
