Nursing Education sous-fonds

The Sous-Fond reflects the changes and developments in Nursing Education at HSC spanning from 1973 to the late 2000s. It is arranged into eleven series: Artifacts, Moving images and Photographs as well as Administrative, Intensive Care Nursing Program, Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care Nursing Program, Adult Intensive Care Nursing Program, Foundation & Specialty Courses, Inservice Education, Emergency Nursing Program & Renal Nursing Program

Records include memos, meeting minutes, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) course content, CPR training course content, ICU course manuals, accreditation manual, photographs of the ICU.

Series documents the functions of Inservice Education. Series includes course descriptions and correspondence related to the delivery of Inservice Education, as well as personnel policies for professional nurses, procedural manuals and rules and regulations related to the nursing faculty.

Series documents the administrative functions of the Department of Nursing. Records include head nurse and assistant head nurse orientation to administration and records relating to the change in shift times.
