The collection documents the life of Isabel Maitland Stewart’s including her education, her training as a nurse, and her career as a nurse and educator. The collection consists of certificates, correspondence, articles, photographs, pins, graduation attire and medals. The collection is arranged into six series which document her life from her early education in Ontario and Manitoba through to her reception of honourary degrees following her retirement. Posthumous events created by acquaintances of Isabel Stewart are also included.

The collection contains items which reflect Margaret (Peggy) Grace Wallace’s nursing training, accomplishments, retirement and death. These items include medals, certificates, a letter of reference, a report of affiliate student, a newspaper clipping, photographs, sculptures and her obituary.

The collection reflects Edith Evelyn Turner’s career at the Children’s Hospital, the Winnipeg General Hospital and the Health Sciences Center. Her records document her work as a student, a nurse, a supervisor, a staffing co-ordinator, a designer, and an advisor. The collection has been arranged into seven series and includes textbooks, photographs, pins and name badges, yearbooks and a graduation programme, silver spoons, and design patents.

The Sous-Fond reflects the changes and developments in Nursing Education at HSC spanning from the 1960s to the late 2000s. It is arranged into twelve series: Adult Intensive Care Nursing Program, Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care Nursing Program, Nursing week, Foundation Courses, Nursing Specialty Courses, Certification Courses, Children’s Hospital, Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program, Photographs, Artefacts, Electronic records and Miscellaneous.
