It was made by the Falk family who were pioneer settlers in Southern Manitoba in 1874, and handed down to Anna (Falk) Braun, to Anna (Braun) Schellenberg , to John Schellenberg who is seen in the photo with his hand on the original. John C. Reimer, former curator of the MHV is also on the photo. The chairs and research have been donated to the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach.
