The series contains documents pertaining to events in the Brandon area. There are program pamphlets for various events, including anniversary celebrations, sporting events, and concerts. There are programs for the centennials of Brandon, the municipality of Cornwallis, and the Brandon Hills. Other event programs in the series are Manitoba’s Diamond Jubilee, Brandon’s 75th anniversary, and multiple church anniversaries. Sporting events include programs for the Canadian Winter Games, and advertisements for hockey games and summer skating school. Also found in the series is a written proposal for Brandon to host the Brier Canadian Curling Championship, a certificate marking the establishment of the Keystone Centre, and meeting posters.
