Fonds consists of a deed of land for SE 19-10-13 from the Department of the Interior (1897).

Records described as part of this fonds date from 1953 to 1999 and include records documenting the acts of the Board of Trustees such as minutes and reports, policy manuals and planning documents, and correspondence. Also described as part of this fonds are records pertaining to museum operations including items pertaining to museum executive management, financial management, collections management, exhibit planning, educational programming, marketing and publicity, and membership and fundraising activities.

The records in this fonds deal with the creation, activities, and history of the Brandon Indian-Metis Friendship Centre, as well as the various organizations associated with the Friendship Centre, such as the Brandon Council of Christians and Jews and the Brandon Council of Women. Fonds consists of meeting minutes, agendas, speeches, correspondence, newsletters, brochures, written publications and newspaper clippings. Four photographs and one pencil drawing are also included.

This fonds consists of a single scrapbook containing articles and pictures of various personalities and events from the world of sports during the nineteen twenties and thirties. Hockey, baseball, basketball, wrestling, boxing, body building, bike racing, boat racing, track and field, swimming, diving, football, rugby, rifle shooting, tennis, bowling, horse racing, golf, soccer, and fishing are all featured in the scrapbook. The articles and pictures feature both local and internationally known sports figures. Fonds also contains pictures of celebrities, royalty, prominent military figures, inventors, and beauty queens from the same era.

Fonds contains one hockey goaltender stick used by Art Puttee while goalie for the Canadian hockey team (the University of Manitoba Grads) that won the 1931 World Championships in Krynica, Poland. Handwritten on one side of the handle is the text, "Winners of Turnbull Cup (Manitoba Champ), Abbott Cup (Western Canada Champ), Ross Robertson Memorial Cup (Canadian Champ). Played 21 games, won 17, tied 3, lost 1." On the outer edge of the handle is the text, "Total goals - for 113 - against 36." Other side of the handle has Art Puttee's signature. Signatures of other players are partially visiable across other parts of the stick; legible names include Doupe, Murdoch, and Chapman.

Fonds consists of announcements, match results, membership lists, financial records, reports of the United College Inter-house Curling League, 1959-1961, and announcements and draws for the 1959-1960 season of the University of Manitoba Intramural Curling League.

Items consist of 17 colour photographs featuring Mrs. Gordon's hats, 3 depicting Mrs. Gordon wearing donated items, as well as photocopies of supporting documentary materials supplied by the maker of the hats, Milliner E. L. Jamon.

Items consist of 3 copies of a black and white photograph of guests at the ball, on one copy of which Mrs. Dimock has indicated her location when the photograph was taken. Also found here are invitations to the opening of the Winnipeg Art Gallery and the Lieutenant-Governor's Ball and a newspaper clipping describing the events.

The collection includes 741 ice hockey programs which almost exclusively chronicle the home games of the Winnipeg Jets hockey team.
