Fonds consists of a photocopy of "Jottings of the Past", dated 1974, 1976, 1980 as told by Bert Seaman. Details describe the Edrans village development beginning near the turn of the century, two murders in 1912 and 1914, local personalities, curious events, community entertainment, economic development, the cyclone of 1901, Ridge Road, the big brushfire of 1903, the 1920 blizzard, the influenza epidemic of circa 1920, deep snow of 1959, and building bees.

Fonds consists of a booklet on Manitoba's Diamond Jubilee (1930), a Dominion Chatauqua programme, a song about the Sidney baseball team, news clippings, scrapbooks of Williams' columns. Of special note is correspondence on, and histories of Sidney and the Harte district of Manitoba, the latter written with John Mack. One history was of 1891 written by Alida M. (James) Davies (1959). The history of the Harte district was written by John Mack in 1967. Nine charts by M. Williams depict the Moorehead/Muirhead families. Of note is a Chatauqua programme (1924) and a song sheet. The one colour and 16 black and white photographs show Sidney School (1909, 1920, 1945-1946, 1953), sports teams, Carberry events and people, threshing outfits.
Fonds consists of a certificate from the Department of Public Works (1959), a certificate entitled "Medaille Commemorative des Batailles de la Somme", honorary life membership from the Carberry Agricultural Society (1976), correspondence from Queen Elizabeth II (1976), other correspondence, newspaper clipping. black and white photographs show family and friends, Knox Presbyterian Church, Carberry Post Office, and Johnstone.
Series 1 consists of 26 coloured photographs and negatives of buildings, businesses, and the cemetery in Carberry, Manitoba taken by the donor in August 1994. Series 2 consists of 30 black and white and 43 colour family photographs. Series 3 consists of 186 black and white and 221 coloured family photographs. Series 4 consists of 220 black and white and 216 coloured family photographs. Series 5 consists of 65 black and white and 31 coloured family photographs, and Dorothy Beswitherick was the co-author of the history. Family histories include correspondence, news clippings, photographs, genealogies, military records, and land titles. In Series 7, 2 black and white photographs show Sidney Telephone Office (1966, 1967). Included in this series are photocopies from the Sidney Outlook concerning community events, 53 black and white photographs and 33 colour photographs of local people, a Carnival, classes.
Fonds consists of two papers signed by Caldwell when he was sworn in as Mayor (1945), and black and white photographs of a Grade IX class (1928), and of Caldwell's general store (ca. 1950).
