The fonds consists of photographs related to the activities of Mayor Henry William "Harry" Cater between the years 1922 and 1936. The fonds also contains a diploma awarded to Harry Cater from the Western Agriculture and Arts Association (WAAA).

The collection contains photographs pertaining to the farming activities of William and Rebecca Hern of Hamiota, Manitoba and their sons in in Togo Saskatchewan. Also included are photographs of a group of Doukhobor women, the Saskatchewan Valley, and an Assyrian immigrant.

The fonds contains documents created by, pertaining to, or accumulated by, the Prince Alexander of Teck Chapter of the I.O.D.E. in Brandon, Manitoba. Documents include roll books (1959-1979), meeting minutes (1971-1994), guide booklets, correspondence, financial records, service secretary's reports (1959-1990), a service manual, a public relations manual, various newspaper clippings, and a poster outlining the organization's purposes and services. Information pertains to attendance, membership, event planning, fundraising, scholarships and bursaries, and charity organizations. Correspondence includes communication with provincial and national I.O.D.E. organizations. The oldest document is a certificate pertaining to the chapter's establishment in 1914.

   The series consists of the I.O.D.E. Prince Alexander of Teck Chapter 308 charter, constitution and by-laws, service manual, public relations manual, and information board documents.

2. Roll Books and Memberships (1914-1994)
   The series consists of membership roll books and lists.

3. Minutes (1971-1994)
   The series consists of the minutes of the I.O.D.E. Prince Alexander of Teck Chapter 308 between 1971 and 1994.

4. Correspondence (1991-1994)
   The series consists of correspondence of I.O.D.E. Prince Alexander of Teck Chapter 308 between 1991 and 1994.

5. Auction/Rummage Sales (1977-1985)
   The series consists of records pertaining to the annual auction/rummage sale of the I.O.D.E. Prince Alexander of Teck Chapter 308 from 1981 to 1985. Includes newspaper clippings.

6. Service Secretary Records (1959-1990)
   The series consists of records of the activities of I.O.D.E. Prince Alexander of Teck Chapter 308 including correspondence, financial records, and event information between 1959 and 1990.

The collection consists of two photographs of the Rathwell Orchestra and one photograph of a woman churning butter.

The collection consists of a photograph and negative of a barn-raising bee in Thornhill, Manitoba and a photograph and negative of the interior of a livery barn in Thornhill, Manitoba, possibly belonging to a farmer named Brentwood or Broadbent.

The collection contains material collected by Isabelle Heeney (1902-1996). The majority of the collection is comprised of written texts about Manitoba history. These texts include books about the history of Elton and Carberry Plains; Brandon teacher's strike of 1922; history of the Anglican Church in Brandon; and Manitoba's architectural heritage. There is also a cookbook from 1909 and five issues of a literary magazine published for Brandon Collegiate in the early 1900s. Other items in the collection include a Loyal Orange Lodge membership certificate from 1911, and a photograph of a bride c.1890.

The collection consists of photographs of Joseph Donaldson (1851-1919); Brandon Packers Building and Staff (1948); and the 1922 Assiniboine River Flood at Brandon, Manitoba

The collection contains photographs of Canadian Pacific Railway construction crews in southwestern Manitoba and southeastern Saskatchewan between 1908 and 1914.

The collection contains a photograph of World War One soldiers standing at attention, a photograph of World War One soldiers marching in a parade, a memorial program for the death of Queen Victoria, a program for the film "Birth of a Nation," and an academic calendar for Clark Hall, the girls' residence at Brandon College.

Large dark-brown leather-covered book containing appraisal of The Brandon Steam Laundry Co. Limited (1215-1219 Rosser Avenue, Brandon, Manitoba), performed by the Canadian Appraisal Company, Montreal in 1913. Consists of 100 pages typed; detailed analysis of the laundry including the boiler house, dye house, stable, wagon shed, barn and sewage.
