Marianne Roux, Father Ruh’s elder sister who entered the Order of the Sisters St. Clare du Luny in 1898, taking the name Soeur Stanislaus. She took her vows in 1901 and went to Africa as a missionary sister and died in Sierra Leone in 1925.

Father Ruh’s sister on left in Africa. Father Ruh’s older sister, Marianne, who was known after her vows in 1901 as Soeur Stanislaus. She was born in 1882, entered the Order of the Sisters of St. Clare de Luny in 1896, and died in Africa where she was buried in 1925.
