3. Newsletters

Series consists of newsletters generated and published by the Winnipeg Art Gallery. The Newsletter name was dropped in July of 1971 and the publication was known as the Calendar of Events from October, 1972 until 1977. The newsletter was published under the name The Winnipeg Art Gallery from February, 1977 until September, 1980 when it was known as The WAG, The Winnipeg Art Gallery. In September 1983, the name was changed to The WAG MAGazine and this name was retained until 1987, when it became known as the Tableau. The publication is the responsibility of the Marketing and Communications Department, and is listed as a series of the Marketing and Communications Department sous-fonds. 3. Special Events Files

Series consists of publicity budgets, advertising, minutes of meetings, photographs, and recommendations surrounding Street Festival 1991. The festival was a one-day outdoor fundraising event held annually in the summer from 1987 to ca. 1992.

4. Correspondence

Series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence. Correspondence for the years preceding 1974 are located in bound volumes in chronological order, interspersed with other the Winnipeg Art Gallery Board of Governors records. 4. Poster Collection

The poster collection consists of publicity posters for exhibitions held at the gallery. These exhibitions poster include both internal and external exhibitions. The collections also consist of unidentified posters that were located within the poster collection at the gallery.
