Jennie Nielsen fonds

Fonds consists of 9 postcards of various places in Denmark, the US and Canada; several letters (in Danish) from Mrs. Nielsen's friends and relatives, a small book of sacred songs, and a book entitled "Danmarks Historie" published in 1879 by a presumably Danish publishing company, and inscribed to Kirstine Nielsen; a photograph of an unknown man; and a photograph marked "Wellwood School - approx 1927" showing the school, the staff and the students (with tentative identification of some of the people in it.)

Also, 14 B&W photos of the John G Brown farmstead, building, family and threshing scenes. Mrs. Brown has written identification and other information on the reverse of the photos

Accession 2010.05 contains the copy of the Centennial Song, with notations, used by Bev Medford, the Carberry & District Community Choir Director.
