This series contains large quantities of ephemera collected, created and compiled by Sam Waller thorough out his life and travels. This includes certificates, brochures for travel, places of previous residence, sheet music, scrapbooks, and a very large collection of religious pamphlets (569 including more than a few duplicates) covering topics from basic principle of Christianity, notes on cathedrals, to how to cope with gambling, Residential Schools, different religions (Judaism, Jehovah’s Witness, Islam, Catholicism and Anglicanism), as well as a few pamphlets in Cree syllabic.

This series contains all the guest books kept by Sam Waller for the viewing of his private collections from 1939 – 1954 , and from the opening of the Little Northern Museum, after Mr. Waller’s retirement from the teaching profession, in 1958 to his death in 1978. This series also includes the guest ledger for Mr. Waller’s funeral.

The John Duncan Robertson fonds consists of a single ruled note book with daily entries from October 1937 to June 1939, written by John Duncan Robertson. Entries describe general camp activities including weather, hunting, fur catch, etc., while trapping in the Moose Lake area with his young son, Sam.
