The collection contains a photograph of World War I soldiers standing at attention, a photograph of World War I soldiers marching in a parade, a memorial program for the death of Queen Victoria, a program for the film "Birth of a Nation," and an Academic Calendar for Clark Hall, the girls' residence at Brandon College.

Postcard picturing two women in an automobile, postcard picturing the Rouge et Noir Minstrels, postcard picturing Canadian soldiers, an invitation to the Firemen's Annual Ball, and a photograph of the First General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church.

The collection consists of material created by and belonging to the Shewan and Malcolm families. Materials include one photograph, one certificate, books, handwritten letters, and other handwritten notes. There are multiple cookbooks, a family Bible, a personal notebook, a book of poetry, and other religious texts. The majority of the handwritten letters belonged to Catherine Shewan (nee Malcolm), and discuss the genealogy of the Malcolm family. Other handwritten materials include testimonials to the teaching ability of James Malcolm. Each item is described in detail at the individual level on the Daly House Museum database.

The collection contains material collected by Isabelle Heeney (1902-1996). The majority of the collection is comprised of written texts about Manitoba history. These texts include books about the history of Elton and the Carberry Plains; the Brandon teacher's strike of 1922; history of the Anglican Church in Brandon; and Manitoba's architectural heritage. Other texts in the collection are a cookbook from 1909, and five issues of a literary magazine published for the Brandon Collegiate in the early 1900s. Other items in the collection include an Orange Lodge membership certificate from 1911, and a photograph of a bride c.1890.

The collection contains textual documents and photographs. Books in the collection include a history book titled, "England's Story" and a biography of Joseph Royal, a former member of the Manitoba Legislature. Other publications in the collection are a Henderson's Winnipeg Street Directory from 1884 and a 1974 issue of the "Ukrainian Canadian Magazine." The collection also contains two photographs of the Bank of Hamilton in Brandon, Manitoba.

The collection is comprised of photographs of early farming activities on the prairies, Brandon’s New Central School, and the Daly House Museum. Also included is a notebook containing research from the Manitoba Legislative Library and Provincial Archives.

The collection contains a short memoir written by Mrs. Eliza Durston and two photographs, one of a Brandon baseball team and the other of Brandon’s first water merchant.

The collection contains photographs, cards, books, and one document that belonged to Phyllis Ricou. The cards and books were sent from her uncle Laurie V. Smith while he served in France during the First World War. The books include The Poetical Works of John Milton, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare and A Graphic History of Modern Europe. The collection also contains Laurie V. Smith’s demobilization letter signed by King George V. The photographs in the collection are of Coronation Day celebrations in Brandon, 1937. The collection also includes a scrapbook compiled by Laurence (Laurie) V. Smith between 1919 and 1936. The scrapbook contains newspaper clipping, programs and photographs of memorial services and monument unveilings at Russell, Minnedosa, Binscarth, Brandon, Birtle, Alexander, Killarney and Wawanesa, Manitoba.

The Collection contains information pertaining to the McVicar family; including cards, obituaries for Mary Ann McVicar and Dr. Charles A. Edwards, newspaper clippings, photographs, certificates and a bible.

The collection consists of photographic material (photographs, postcards, and negatives) pertaining primarily to the McRae family. Images include the McRae homestead, various farming activities, show horses, and a portrait of Finlay and Martha McRae. Also included are images of Brandon churches, the Minnedosa Fair Grounds, and South Brandon School No. 596. The collection also contains a negative for a photograph of the Great Northern Railway Station in Hayfield, Manitoba.
