Assiniboine Historical Society Collection

The fonds consists of records collected and created by the Assiniboine Historical Society over the course of its existence. The records include photographs and other historical documents from the Brandon area; meeting minutes; financial records; correspondence records; heritage publications; film committee and street name committee documents; a constitution; documents relating to the Manitoba Historical Society; walking tour documents; and some miscellaneous files. Beecham Trotter Collection

The collection is comprised of material accumulated or created by Beecham Trotter and his family. It consists of photographs of the Trotter family and other Brandon residents. Additionally, there are drawings of different locations in the Brandon area. The collection includes a magazine article and typewritten short story written by Beecham Trotter, numerous newspaper articles he wrote on the early days of Brandon, as well as newspaper clippings pertaining to members of the Trotter family and prominent Brandon figures. Many of these are in a scrapbook, while others are separate. Items are described in detail at the individual level in the Daly House Museum database.
