This collection contains textual records relating to various issues and information on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Two-Spirit and Queer history including: Comprehensive Works, Bibliography, Reference; Gay/Lesbian Life, Lifestyles & Concerns; Literature & Language; Visual & Performing Arts; History & Gay/Lesbian Liberation Movement; Behavioral Sciences; Social Sciences; Philosophy & Religion; Physical & Natural Sciences; and AIDS-Related Information. It also includes an extensive moving image and sound collection, including oral histories and episodes of the cable access program "Coming Out."
The collection consists of 5 photographs taken by James D. Hall and Skene Lowe depicting Indigenous people in 1880s Winnipeg, Manitoba. The subjects were reportedly paid for the use of their imagery in photographs sold by Hall & Lowe.
[On the back of the postcard:] “Good old Ruh! Where are you hiding? I waited for you in vain – even though you’ve ploughed through everything and are unconquered, they give you no respect. Joe Stutt of St. John the Baptist Parish, in his role as Jesus in The Passion Play which was written and directed by Father Ruh and performed throughout local communities to raise money to continue construction of the new church which was rededicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1952 as the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Archbishop’s blessings, from Wasyly Ladyka. Archbishop Wasyly Ladyka, OSBM, longtime colleague of Father Ruh who was his confessor for twenty years when they worked together in Manitoba.

Father Ruh is seated in the second row from the front, near the centre and above the letter “C” in the printed photo caption CATHOLIC. Bishop Neil Sabourin is seated two to the left of Father Ruh.

Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church was designed by Father Ruh. The church was completed much to the original plan but details such as the pillars at the staircase, and the statue above the main entrance were not including. This is a copy of Philip Ruh Blue Print Collection PRBP071.1 to PRBP071.4 in Folder #15.
