The material is correspondence, meeting agendas, minutes, and reports from the Western Canadian Conference of Bishops, the Canadian Catholic Conference of Bishops, and Synods Episcoporum.

The papers were created in the course of this work, to which are linked the series dealing with Vatican II and with the Synod of Bishops.
