The fonds consists of exhibition catalogues from the Winnipeg Sketch Club. This fonds does not contain all the catalogues from this organisation. They are presumed missing but they could be in fact years in which there were no exhibitions.

The sous-sous-fonds contains records relevant to the Membership Committee under the Board of Governors of the Art Gallery.

Items consist of original art work, draft sketches and work notes, photographic reproductions of the artist's work, newspaper cuttings and other memorabilia, and typescripts.

These are the exhibition catalogues from the Manitoba Society of Artists. The catalogues date between 1935-1975 with many of them missing. These catalogues contain works of art i.e. paintings done by members, associates and even non-members of the Manitoba Society of Artists including such well-known artists such as L. L. Fitzgerald, Lynn Sissions, George Swinton, Walter J. Philips, Alex J. Musgrove, Eric Bergman, Leo Mol, Barb Endres, Kenneth Martin, Pauline Boutal, J. Doris Hunt, Winston Leathers and Robert Bruce.
