The Manitoba Hydro collection consists of correspondence and instructions for the operation of the hydroelectric generating plant and data on the fluid cooler. The generator was used by the Town of The Pas until it was turned over to Manitoba Power Commission in 1959.

The Brotherhood of the Maintenance of Way Employees (No. 1801) fonds consists of a bound minute book of union local meetings listing members and outlining union activities and member welfare activities, a duplicate of the local charter (51 x 38.2 cm) dated 6 August 1935 listing executive members, and a cardboard mailing tube for the charter addressed to J. Mezzorabba.

The Kathleen Hill collection consists of “Captain Henry LeFroy at The Pas (1842 – 1844)” by William Burt, “The history of the Church of England in The Cumberland Deanery and the Franklin Expeditions”, some stage notes for the costuming of the play “The Private Secretary”, and a promotional brochure for the Elbow Lake Mine.

Ed Johanson collection

The Ed Johanson collection consists of a word processed document by Ed Johanson and Jim Atkins regarding the electrical history in The Pas from 1900 – 1963, and data regarding Rev. E. Eves, including photocopies created 1991, of articles on the death of Rev. Edward Eves, Minutes of the Manitoba and North-West Methodist Conference, pages from Ministers and Probationers, photographs of Rev. Eves tombstone, Rev. Eves biography by his daughter Viola (Eves) Bacon, etc. The data was collected to designate the gravesite sporting Rev. Eves’s tombstone (with questionable dates) as a historic site, to protect it during Manitoba Hydro dam construction in the area.

The John Wade fonds consists of Xerox copies of correspondence between Sam Waller and his nephew John Wade between 1944 - 1978. John Wade resided in England.

The Ross Navigation Company collection consists of five certificates of the steamboat ‘Tobin’ of Kenora for the Ross Navigation Company Limited of The Pas, Manitoba for the years 1927, 1928, 1930, 1934 and 1935, and a letter and list relating to the disposal of Captain Horatio Hamilton Ross’ effects from 1925.

The John Kerr fonds consists of a civil engineering graduation thesis based on studies to divert part of the Saskatchewan River into Lake Winnipegosis to reclaim land for agricultural purposes. The text is broken into two parts; the first concerning “General Facts of the Area” and the second concerning “Reclamation of the Area”. The thesis has diagrams, maps, graphs, and tables to complement the text.
